The SUPPLEX fabric is nice and airy and its intrinsic moisture management function means it is particularly pleasant to wear in hot weather. It also dries quickly and offers very good UV protection.

The arms are narrow and the elastic is too tight at the wrist if i want to push up the sleeves, but i live in them in the winter time. They are very well made, the colors are beautiful, the dark colors are very rich looking, They are warmer than the typical fleece jackets so I have several, just wish they were a little fuller in the arms.

Not too warm, not too cold, well proportioned and don't fade. I have learned not to use dryer sheets or liquid softeners on the fleece and they are still soft and look like new.

After reading several reviews, and then finally trying one on in store before purchasing, I knew I needed to order a size smaller than I typically would. I've worn a black jacket with my work logo on it for several years and the long, cold, ND winters made me want something other than black for my daily wear jacket. We've recently had temps well below zero for days (-20 or more with wind chills even lower), and I need something that can hold up to these temps. This jacket does it! It's a bit stiff at first but I have no doubt it will soften up over time. The color is a great shade of red and it's very comfortable. In typical Carhartt fashion, I expect to last for years.
